Yes Perry, these are the best pictures I have for the moment. The helmet is for sale on Ebay, so I can ask for better pictures if you want.
The numbers in the helmet are; NS64 and 0228.

What do you think? Based on the pictures so far?

I worked a little on it, here's the result. I hope it will help...
For me, it's not a good one, but I'll let the final word to the masters.

Dennis you should let this one go. Even with the bad photo's (which were done on purpose I bet) you can see the artifical aging to the decal..
If you get better photo's please post them...

I just sent the seller an email for better photos of the decal. When I recieve them I'll sent them to Ty (if it's ok with him) .

I found it suspicious that there where rust spots or whatever in and around the decal, and nowhere else on the helmet. I hope I get better pictures quickly!

I'll follow your advise and leave the helmet for now, till I get better pictures!

I just got an email back from the seller, telling me that you can't see the decal better on other pictures. He has compared the decal with decals from books from Bear and he says that the measurements are the same as the decal on the helmet.
The chinstrap is marked; CVD 1940 and the liner with BR SM & a RB number.

You're right Chris, till I get a better helmet

Yes this helmet (decal) looks bad here to.
Thats a tipical reaction from a fake seller, dont fall in it.
