Looks artificially aged or cleaned to me......Hard to say for sure 100%, whether/not paint is original or not from the pictures IMHO.....Bodes

The helmet was used as a biker's helmet in the late 70's to early 80's. It was painted in an brown/ orange paint job. There was a somewhat famous MC logo on the front which was removed during the restoration process.

Looks like a Luftwaffe helmet.....Inside is bluish grey.....Seems to me I have seen this color scheme on a Luft before.......Too bad it was messed up by the biker.....Bodes

Those bikers . I wonder what they will do if you spray their motorcycles I guess that you wil be smelling like burning rubber. By the way was this a Hardly Davidson MC?
