M35 DD EF Helmet?

Hi All,

Got this helmet yesterday in the mail from the son of a vet. It has bullet hole in the front. are these decals ok? To me they look the same as other good ones on the forum.

What do you guys think?

They will come off hopefully the sooner you do that then the lid may start to resemble what it was. Taking intoo acount you didnt pay much for it.

Yep move it on as a helmet with brand new illuminous fake decals at a loss . Looks like a shrapnel strike to me .Rob

the outside paint is suspect too. it looks too fresh compared to the inside or any other real paint i've encountered. the real paint or its remains is underneath. the inside looks untouched and the remains of the leather liner look like they are dried with dark red, blood? like others say, remove the decals and it'll be a nice display helmet.
