My M35 Luftwaffe DD helmet, refurbished around 1943.

Here is some photos linked in of my M35 DD Luftwaffe helmet. On a close up photo of the right side you can see the National shield decal under the rough coat of paint. Some parts of the eagle is coverd too. The helmet at the back had once its owners name but there are only traces of it now.

I am a little scared off by the liner and liner string. Does not match the helmet and chinstrap. Not that that is neccessarily bad.......... Other than that it looks like the helmet has been through at least one rebuild. Regards, Chris
