Transitional helmet liner question

Hello forum...

does this liner and chinstrap look good?

The guy swears it is... and claims if came from his 88 year old neighbor, etc.. etc.

It looks like a Swiss post war. I never saw a chin strap like this.

Is it police? One photo for now.

In my collection, I have a DD Police transitional that was originally an Austrian M16 Gendarmerie (holes remain for flaming grenade badge), a LS Austrian M16 transitional (again, between the wars Austrian M16 helmet), and an Austrian M16 Gendarmerie (with the flaming grenade badge), and all three have a very similar suspension system as the helmet pictured (which also appears to be based on an M16 Austrian helmet).
