My new double decal KM or Heer

As some of you know my friend is selling his helmet collection to me. He had also sprayed this one, but I will leave it alone for sure. I have learned my lesson the hard way. This helmet has been signed by the user on the inside middle. It is an ET 64 batch number 538. It has an unusual brown chin strap and the liner looks a little different than the ones I have seen. There is an eagle and swastika ink stamp on the liner with some writing and a large 59 stamped in over it. Kriegsmarine or Heer with the national shield? He says it is a Navy helmet. Your inputs are welcome. There is also a history on this helmet. Thanks Bill

Looks like a liner from an Italian M33.
That would be really quite rare also because not many M40's have a national shield. I also think the adler is a silver colour........and what gives with the strange rivets ?
And the base colour looks a lot like a Norwegian re-issue........that would make the decals wrong too !

Just my personal opinion, I am often wrong about these things !

I will try and get a close up of the decal. He says the decal was more gold than that when he had gotten this helmet. You can see some gold on the upper middle. Of course I am no expert. Thanks
