It's perfect... right down to the white paint smudge from Grandpa's workshop. It's scary as a matter of fact. This is the helmet everybody wants in their collection, and the one so many fake up. I am not an expert (trying to be though) and my gut says... it's real. Did I pass the test or did I make a $3000 mistake?

I have noticed something... Ron R. could take a picture of a Spanish helmet with a giant wiener painted on it and everybody here would give him a standing ovation. I wouldn't know Ron if he knocked me over at the grocery store, so I look at his helmets like any average Joe (though I know from this forum his collection is God-like). I think that Ron should start posting his helmets under another moniker so that the throngs don't judge the helmets based on the poster... but instead judge the helmets.

Just a fun idea for a Friday afternoon... call me crazy, but buy me a beer if you plan to insult me.
