Sorry but please let me just add a little something as I must say I sadly know this story very well because this helmet was "on hold" for me after Curtiss prefered to pass on it (BTW it seems I was the only one who told him the decals were good
) and gave me the link to the seller . Yes , I was in the process to take it ( with the help of the seller's brother who lives very close to me) when a dealer (and not a collector sorry) came to the seller's home and bought it 
I must say if this dealer knew I already held this helmet , I realy thank him for his great honesty 
Anyway , I'm glad Curtiss can keep it again and I just hope he will have it for a fair price in regards to what he should have payed
Now for the decals and these great helmets you posted , EF used all these makers , just IMHO it would be better to call them by their names when they are known because they can be found on different shells (even if they're more specific to a maker)
Tom , may be you could check if some helmets looks to have been reissued or refurbished (for the non "EF" style
)?
