M42 Luft SD Normandy camo, Opinions please!

Hey Guys,

Now that you`ve all plucked my M42 DAK helmet to pieces, please give me an opinion on my Normandy helmet
I must say, I`m not really expecting anything positive here!! I thought my DAK helmet was good, so my judgement seems to be very poor when it comes to camo helmets

But, I have broad shoulders, so please feel free to fire away!

Nope, this comes straight from a dealer in Germany! But it does`nt mean that it didnt originally come from this guy in Belgium??

Well in my opinion the paint is recent and the helmet has been whacked with a bicycle chain to acheive the all over hit with a bicycle chain look . Sorry Rob

i agree with rob decal looks bad to me it lacks a lot of detail like originals imo sorry dion i think its another bad one not to mention there is absolutely no wear what so ever to the edge or rim of entire helmet

these are home baked buy a guy in belgium.the way its painted round the decal,the fact the liner has been replaced is enough red flags for me.
it does look as if the guy beat it with a bycicly chain perhaps its a fettish

I had purchased a so called SS camo from Hove Belgium. The jerk would not return the money. I do not claim to be an expert on helmets, but the minute it was pulled from the box, I knew I was burnt. Even the helmet shell and liner were fake. Nothing was good on the piece of junk. I would disclose the name on the forum if it were permitted. He deals on Epier auctions as we speak. Sorry on this one Dion. At least the liner looks ok. Bill
