When do you have enough helmets?

Sitting in my office last night I was admiring my 5 favorite helmets and wondering when does it stop? I mean how many helmets is enough? I'm happy with what I've got now and a couple of spares that I'll trade off someday. So is enough... enough to outfit a squad? a platoon? or your own division?

i think you have enough when you can't afford anymore. i would love to have more but they have gotten so $$ that i can't buy like i used to. i now have to wait for "deals"

I try to tell myself after every purchase that this is last peice, I promise.

Its true what they say, "You may feel satisfied with you collection, but a true collector is never complete."

A more realistic deal for yourself is to keep in mind that you'll take a break for a while.

total = 70

This total would give a person a nice varied collection. A helmet from each maker per branch and per model.

Does not include camo's or FJ lids , so make it a 100 if you want some of these too

A lot of helmets is nice, but having a few nice helmets as well is great...

Hard to answer then, but the fact with this kind of collection is that you can own helmets during a while, having the pleasure to look at them, to "feel" them and one day to let them go to another collector: at least you had the pleasure to have them under your thumb
