opinions on this M43 fieldcap please

    Hello to all

I'm planning to buy below pictured fieldcap. Wool-texture looks okay, it has some staining and light mothing. Lining is artifical silk with a markersmark inside that I've never have seen before.
IMO, I have a good feeling about it, but I would like to have some confirmation on it.

Now, I know to less about the insignia to judge on this one, so what about it? Is it correct, if so,it is stitched correct?

And what about those markings, shouldn't M43 in general have a Rbnr? Could it be a private tailored cap?

Thanks in advance for the help

    cheers

    Jan

inside view, everything looks textbook to me, but that makerstamp : RICHLER & SOHNE, Dresden... any ideas? Someone has ever seen this sort of stamp in a M43 OR cap?

            Hello Jan !!!
my first reflections.. hm.. isn't eagle looking like mint example ?? a bit too new for hat with tears and wear inside...
hm... hat is poorly tailored - not looking like private purchase.. could it be some Grenschutz polizei hat ?? or bahnschutz ???

            just my feelings..
            Cheers !!

Hi Jan, I do not like the cap. The overall quaility of construction does not look good enough to me. The ink stamp is very, very, dubious. Not one I have seen before but I do not like it one bit. An Einheitsfeldmutze would only have a size mark and an RBnr at best. There was no such a thing as a private purchase model for the other ranks; plus would you buy one in 1944 on a Privates pay
              Cheers, Ade.

                Thanks !!

Thanks Mike and Ade for these quick replies!!

Mike, I already noticed the minty look too. Apart from that, does it look original to you?

Ade, indeed, that was the main problem for me, I found these stamps rather strange. So this stamping supposed to be a fantasy-stamp, added later on?
If you remember,I already posted some fieldcaps in the past from weitze, they were good, but I was to late to buy them.
I also compared those with this one, and there are indeed some major differences in construction,etc...

I'll let this one go and rather wait a lit longer for a good one ( and maybe pay a little more ). This particular one was offered for 325 Euros!

thanks again, fellas! I Still have to learn alot, so you can expect an invasion of ' opinions on this M43 cap please' -threads the comming weeks...

                cheers
