One tool that has been valuable to me in spotting fakes is to look for patters in a seller helmets if they are offering more than 1 helmet.
The decals are from the same seller. Please note like little pebbles under the decals. One is a heer eagle and the other a DD polizei.
The heer decal initially looked OK, but the similarities in the decals background make me stay away from both helmets.

Hi Juan, you were right to pass on both these helmets. The paint has had sand mixed in with it to try and replicate the rough texture and this has the wrong look to it. Hence the bubbles to the decals.
