M42 SS SD on ebay

Hello,

the following helmet is on ebay at the moment, advertised only as M 42. The auction shows only the left side, but the bids at the beginning of the auction show that there must be something on the other side, so I asked for more pictures. I am not an expert, but I do not like the damage of the decal. And I do not want to bid on the helmet, since I had a bad experience with the seller. Furthermore the left side looks as if a (repro) decal has been removed.

hi Johannes, IMO leave it alone.....
I think that's easy (even for me) to recognize that the decal it's a rough fake........
