Hi Mike,
It doesn't look like there is another decal under the Heer eagle-at least to me. BTW, your helmet is an M-16 and the lugs have been removed from it.

Hello Jody, thanks for your opinion. Which is the correct name in german for the lugs (perhaps helmnieten??). I will look for a pair to complete my helmet.
