SS helmet

Hi. I have the opportunity to buy a M40 Q66 SS Helmet. I don't have any experience with SS helmets, and I would like some opinions on this SS decal.
I have recieved some pictures from the seller. Not the best quality but I have asked for more detailed pictures of the decal. These pictures are all I have right now. Please have a look, and let me know what you think.

Francis is right, as always. Even with those pictures, it is clearly a bad decal. Don't waste your money.

Hi. Thanks for the help folks. I just saved a lot of money there. Now to the bad part: This helmet belongs to a good friend of mine, who payed a lot of money for it.... How should I tell him the bad news? And I know the guy he bought this helmet from too. This could become a very embarrasing situation for the both of them.
Anyway, I am looking for a very good SD or DD SS helmet for a ss uniform set that I have. (The only SS uniform in my collection) I mainly collect Heer uniforms and signals equipment, so SS have really not been my field of collecting.

I would stay out of that problem if I were you. Very fast way to loose 2 friends. Encourage the helmet buyer to research more and steer him towrds the answer so that he becomes the one who discovers the helmets authenticity and you will not involve yourself that way.

I have just asked the seller to try and get the helmet verifyed from another source, wich he said that he will do. Anyway I have lost interest in that helmet due to statements regarding the helmets authenticityfrom forum members. Thank you very much for your help folks :-)
