I don't what it is but I have a real liking for Km helmets. It must the gold of the decal or that they are slightly rarer.

Nice KM Jorn thanks for sharing. Yours looks to be the later dark green as well. Nice worn example.
Billy the DD Heer you posted is the later green as well or it has alot of rust bleed through giving the green a dark appearance in the photo's...

A lot of nice helmets posted and a joy to behold.
The M35 I posted came out of a house in Europe and I am the first collector to own it as such. It had a Kriegsmarine belt with it, but as M35s are my main interest I passed on that.
There is a rank painted before the name which looks to be abbreviated to Stwm. The friend who this is coming from has studied it under a loop and confirms that it is a KM, no sign of white or silver. I also respect this fellow collectors judgement.
I have delved no further into the history, but I will do so. The helmet should arrive with me in the next few days at which stage I can handle it myself and forward some comment.
