    Purist?

    Hi Edelweiss!

I agree with everything you say except the part about a
"purist" removing each and every chinstrap before selling
his helmets. I'd call him an idiot.Or a crook.

IMO a purist would never remove a chinstrap from a helmet
or add one to a helmet without one.I would think he wouldn't
even clean the dust or cobwebs out of the shell. And this can't
    be a bad thing...

I also agree with Mr.Zahn that no definitive decision can be
made about the camo on this helmet from the photos. Not
anymore. But it does look very good.

Brian, the "purist" thing was a little touch of irony.... What Edelweiss really meant is that these people should be droped in the ocean with I knife stuck in their backs and weights tied to their feet.

        Thank-you, Sir!

For clearing that up for me!

Well then, Edelweiss, I see we're in complete agreement
        after all...never mind!!!

Here's pics of one attributed to the Battle of the Bulge. The caption from the books states it was liberated from the battle by a U.S. G.I.
Sorry for the quality but it's a photo of a photo...Notice the chinstrap..

I can't really determine...If someone sent me those pics wanting to sell a camo it wouldn't spark my interest at all.
I can't determine with those pics sorry, anything would be guessing...
