Luftwaffe DD helmet Opinions?

Hello,

I recently aquired a couple helmets and being strictly a buckle collector I am out of my league here. Therefore, I was looking for any opinions on this Luftwaffe DD helmets GOOD or BAD. I have no idea what style helmet this is, maker, original/repro, value, or if it has been messed. I would like to offer this for sale or trade for belt buckles on the estand, but want to make sure it is original so any help/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve

You have a nice original DD LW helmet. The decals are original. The helmet is a M 35 model. The liner is 100 % original WWII issued. I am not an expert in chinstraps.
I like it. It would be god to have a photo of the pins. I really like it. It is not mint but honest IMHO.

From the pictures posted it looks like it was once a early overpaint and the decals may have been uncovered(post-war). Can you post some good clear close-ups in natural light?

I agree with Perry.....Those decals look unnaturally "washed out", as IF they were liberated from beneath a covering layer of paint.....Bodes

Thanks for your opinions gentleman. I tried to take some better pictures of the decals in natural light. I hope they are some use.
