Opinions needed - please help with your advice

Hello - I'm really new in this forum - try to do as supposed though. I would greatly appreciate your help concerning a German WWII Luftwaffe helmet in my collection. I received it from the Luxembourg Ardennes but I'm not quite sure of the authenticity !??
Please let me know what you think about it !

My first impression that the liner appears brand new and shows no wear, whereas the shell shows considerable use. Based on what I see it appears to be a good shell that has been partially restored with the liner being added. Of course my eyes aren't as good as they used to be perhaps there is a tad of wear, but not much, around the edge of the liner.

Hi Mike,
thanks a lot for your opinion ! You are right - the liner shows no wear. If it is a fake it is not a real catastrophy, I didn't buy the helmet, I received it from a man in the Ardennes of Luxembourg as a gift.
