I agree with you, Nick, Party shield looks way off. Bottom of the runes decal is incorrect too. (in my opinion) A lot of money for a repro. What does everyone else think ?

Whoooooooowwww what a seller that is.
I just asked fo better pictures and this is what I get.

This helmet is 100% original and has not been touched since the war. I
bought it from Manion's International Auction house. They have been in
business for 32 years and have never sold a fake decal or fake decaled
helmet. This is as clear as a digital camera will take these pictures and I
don't give a damn whether I sell the helmet or not. It will be worth three
times its value in a year and Manion's will buy it back. If those decal
pictures are not clearly originals in your view, then keep your money.

Think he's rude now try to ask for your money back after you bought it, he would probably give you a good cussing..

The auction for this particular helmet ended at $2000. Just got an e-mail from the seller.

He said the buyer just backed out so it is still available. Looks like someone got smart. Good going !

Hmmm, This sounds very suspected. It's the second time somebody bailed out.
He is bidding on his own items, thats for sure!! Be aware for this seller.
I think thats good advice.

fake decal

Manions has never sold a fake


My last helmet a bought by the Auction (about 2 jears ago)
was a good Mod. 40 helmet with faked decals.
When I got it, I repacked it after 20 Minutes and sent it back
with a notice of the fake Waffen-SS decals in my opinion.



I got my money back.

Left the Auction House since then and never will go back.
