A SD Heer reissued to the SS or a DD SS that has the party shield removed. The difference if you can clearly show will be a major jump in price, plus or minus...

That's something good to hear. Still I would need to see it myself before I agreed it was a DD.
Just for note like all helmet reference books to date, it is well known that Vol. II contains several reproductions. It's one reason why Vol. II is so hard to find, as it wasn't reprinted like Vol. I. It is speculated in the collecting community that the reproductions was one of the main reasons why..
