    Thanks Perry,

As you already know I'm just a student at university of "detecting SS decals". It's my first year now and I think that it will be many more. The teachers are very fine guys. When I graduate I hope I will be ready to buy me a nice helmet just like Del's.

    Ooh boy

Well Del sorry, I've made an other mistake on those bloody decals. Nice find, I'll guess I'm just jalous.

    Kind Regards

This isn't the same helmet that was one before. The other was a M-35 posted on April 2. I looked at it quick My mistake
Congrats on a nice purchase del.

        SS helmet

Thanks to all for the comments about my helmet. I am happy that it turned out to be a good one. In retrospect I did not know at the time I bought the helmet that one of the primary clues was the bottom of the shield. I am happy with the helmet but at the same time a little disappointed that I didn't find one with a complete decal. In the future if I ever decide to sell it it might be a problem if other collectors base their findings on the bottom outline of the shield. I am somewhat up in the air now if I should keep it or try to upgrade it. Nick, don't worry one will come your way. It took me awhile before I got mine. DEL

I don't think you'll have too much trouble selling it. Finding one with a better decal is going to be very tough...

Perry, did you write that he may sell it? Del Panfini, if you are thinking about selling it, let me know. I would be very interested.

Oh, I just read Del Panfini's post about a hypothetical sale sometime in the future Oh well. Still, if you ever decide to part with it, do keep me in mind.

              Del,
I wouldn't worry about trying to sell that helmet in the future. Real ones will always sell...doesn't matter if part of the decal is missing. That entire helmet is a nice untouched original.
