I need help with an unusual liner please

I have an M-42 single decal with an unusual liner. I have this helmet for about 10 years.
The shell is painted with the late war blue gray rough paint.
The shell is stamped 1576 and ET 66.

Is this liner a repro?

Initially I thought that one finger splitted, but as you can see that's not the case.

I see nothing wrong with this one. It's just big (60), I thought I would see it in a 68 shell.

THe outside leather is stamped 58 or 59 in a circle. The inside # 60 I don't think is a size marking.

Not a repro, looks fine to me. They sometimes used liners with 9 instead of 8
