Marked NS62 - DN31. With depot stamp inside, not very clear.

Bad decal. I think the paint and the name painted in the skirt are post-war too.

Maybe the liner is still good , it is rare to see one like that in an M40.

Well, I am not the "Expert" in M40s, but I can easily say that this one is not right. Undoubtedly, the decal is also incorrect.

This one was a "one looker" in the negative column.
At first glance, I didn;t even have to look further at the helmet.

As soon as I saw that paint around the decal, the decal itself, and the interior, this one was pretty easy to shoot down. I have seen similar looking helmets before..
