Nice Single Decal M-40, Named in rear, 1940 dated Aliuminium liner. This helmet has been painted over in thick dark gray. You see wide brush strokes and the soldiers thumb print in the back. Have to really look for it, though. I figure this paint was obtained from a motorized unit.
