M35 Or M40 ??

Hay Guys,
I have this old german helmet, its all original and it has the chin strap and liner, everyhting, im thinking of parting with it, and i wanted to know if it was a m35 or m40? before i do?
Does anyone know what these would go for?

I think its a M40?? with the curled rim but the little vents are very large and look like they might be seperate to the shells steal? wouldnt this mean m35?
As you can guess, im hopeless with helmets, but any help would be warmly welcomed.

Hi Ian, it is an M35. The air vent is made from a separate bushing. M40's are embossed directly into the shell pressing.

You will be able to find the makers mark (a two letter code) and size stamped into the steel on the skirt on the right side near where the chinstrap is fixed.
