Kriegsmarine Cap Tally List.... and 2 questions..

Some of you may be aware of this already, but there seems to be a fairly comprehensive list of Kriegsmarine Cap Tallys here:

If you cut and paste it to a Word (or whatever) document and change the font to Fraktur, it makes a neat reference list.

While we are on the subject.....

1. The only Marineschule I see are Kiel, Murwik, Wesermunde and Freidrichsort. Is that really it, just 4?

2. I thought I remember hearing from Gordon W. that Tirpitz and Bismarck tallys are fakes? True? They are on this list...

Yes, there are only the four schools ( though this doesn't include the specialist schools for signals, artillery, torpedo etc etc)

There are some really major-league cap ribbon collectors over in Germany and in fact volume one of a large two volume book set on the subject of just cap ribbons is in the advance stages of production at present, covering all German caps ribbons from the earliest right up to those of the Bundesmarine.

I have had correspondence with one of the authors who agrees that there were never any genuine Bismarck or Tirpitz ribbons and those that exist are copies made for veterans groups etc. The fakes are easy to spot because of the totally incorrect style of letter "s" used in the "Schlachtsschiff" prefix.

Mr. Williamson, any updates on that Cap Tally book you reference above? Sounds like something I have to have.
