Believe me,this helmet was mine and it's gold as gold can be.
Not even 00000,1 % doubt.
In daylight it's just beautiful.

There is a 'bigfoot' M40 SD on majorplm, but its Heer.
The price doesn't seem to be influenced greatly by the decal:
595 Euro

It would be nice to see the helmet with better lighting, but I'm afraid I cannot suggest a price. I see there are some paint runs on the helmet, that's kind of interesting

Hi,
The eagle and helmet are exactly how you see them,gold eagle and kind of light green helmet.
There's also a drop of paint under the decal by it's foot.

Jos you have a pic of the inside?
If the inside is just as nice and it is for sure a Navy, your talking around $850-$900

A great helmet, but I can't help but notice the several paint runs which seem to start at the rim and run toward the top of the helmet. Isn't that unusual? I'm surprised to find them that obvious.

I have a vet-acquisition with paint runs going from back to front. Perhaps this KM was repainted while being suspended from the chinstrap?

Paint runs will be encountered alot. No big deal..Even on some factory paint jobs...
