m42 ns64

I just got a m42 helmet for nothing just the shell.
But i dont know if the shell is real ok,
Its mark ns64 on the left side of the helm,
And in the rear of the helm is the lot #.
I have seen somewhere that both the make,size and lot #"s where both on the back rim of the helmet.
So wich one is the real one?
1-Marked both on the left side and rear of the helmet?
2-Or all marks are on back of the helmet?
I just never had a ns helmet before"If a pic is needed i will post

well you can have originals either with the size stamp
at the left or in back above the batch number.
Earlier produced shells have the size stamp on the left side
