This is the discription from the seller:

Model 1940 single decal SS reissue helmet. Shell is EF62 hallmarked. No rust. Paint in MINT condition, first pattern runic decal is 99% visible. Second pattern liner full original with maker's mark and size (55). Original drawstring. Post war replaced chin strap with "RB" number. This helmet originally was field-gray finished but repainted with pre-war smooth dark-gray. Along with the outside of the helmet, the inside skirt was repainted. The liner was not removed, nor was the dome repainted. Decal added on smooth finish. I guess it was repainted due the order of march 1940 about removing party shield for camouflage reasons. Overall excellent condition

That is a very poor fake helmet. Shape of the runes decal is not right and look at the poor artificially aging with those orange spots. Also the liner is very poor done. Notice the sloppy look and the stitching on the back... Even the chinstrap is not good. This helmet is a totally post-war built up helmet. Save your money and like Billy have stated more then once: buy something like a SS helmet by a well known dealer instead to find 'that bargain' on auction sites like eban. Well, said enough.

Definitely all wrong. The dead give away is the fake aging on the decal. I've seen this helmet on ebay before.
