              M-40 it is!
Good example, bad decall, but not nescecery fake...
My unkle(ex SS) said to me there where more than one kind of them, and he as an Dutch SS-Volunteer had to paint his own Dutch collors by himself....so...
Like mine M-40;replace the chinstrap, but only the leather!

What do you mean with your question??
              What areas??
              Want to buy another??
Look at mine M-40 to compare it with your's!
              Nice work M8!!

The helmet looks OK, but the decal you need a close up pic....otherwise, no good...

With regards the SS Decals, what are the points to look out for on fake ones?
The best way of telling good from bad.

Hi Scott, this is a big subject. A search here will bring up a load of threads. It is much better to study originals than the legions of different fakes made over the past 30 odd years all over the world.

I would recommend the book "SS Steel" as a must have if you ever want to buy an SS helmet: plus have it vetted here first.

                    Cheers, Ade.
