i was very curious where this tow were

I heard recently a story on a german general who surrender him with 7000 or 8000 soldiers,he has been send to a PW camp in the US and some ex-SS officers try to kill him for this treason.I don't remember his name,Eberhardt or something like that.I have the story on my video.
