hi,
I want to show you this rare helmet.
I have find it, completly repaint in gray, the man that sell to me scratch with something for take out the insignia but make only disaster.

A friend of mine make a very good job and take off all the gray(was inside too) and now is possible to see that was black with 2 insignias, black again with 2 news insignias and last green.

In my opinion an original SS-Verf******252;ngungstruppe M18 helmet, probably reissued once because of the double layers of paint and decals, it looks green over black, I’m I right?, a pity it was post war repainted once in grey, perhaps you succeed getting all post war paid of, good luck.<O</O<O</O<O</O<O</O

Yes, a very rare helmet. Not a M18, but a RZM. These were often issued several times with layers of decals. This one has had it's outer layer of paint removed to get to the decals. Paint removal with this sucess was lucky...
