Yes, decals are under the paint (3 color shiled for sure, you can see part of it, but second decal with eagle was destroyed by the soldier . I think its M40 rivets are pined to the shell, not screwd like in M35, or I cant recognize them, too many paint layers on the shell. The helmet was found on the attic, so its in very good condition, skin is soft, everything is original, all stamps are included, also original sweater under skin liner.Straps are soft, and original too. I just cleaned it and waxed it thats why it looks shiny but it was matt, when i found it. It looks like it was painted with non -reflection paint.

inside color dosent look right for a m35, to dark,
outside color is a bit to dark....
wax of!!
