SS/police helmet, opinions please

Decals and helmet look good to me. Isn't it possible that rust can form under decals giving the "appearance" of decal place over rust? I've had cars that rusted under new repaint jobs so why not decals? Just a thought

I agree too , the decals are good so far and may be you're right Richard (I already saw a SS 42 with the decal pitted from "the inside" )
As usual , a hand on inspection is needed

Well the helmet is on its way and I belive it is right.
Why would someone use original decals on a rusty helmet??
If I would do this I would have picked a helmet without rust..
Just my opinion..

nice unmessed helmet decals are fine helmet is fine keep it and enjoy.
there are exceptions to the rule
i see cars with rust bubbles under the paint so rust under a decal should not be a supprise
