Which Brunswick military unit wore such a kind of visor cap skull ? I think the skull is late war made, zinc, not silvered but gold (!) and red eyes.... Thanks for informations!

I've seen a couple of SS caps with red material behind the eyes of the skull. I guess these young guys did it to look cool!

I have seen both Prussian and Brunswick TKs that were definitely gilded.
They always seem to be on caps dating from the pre-1914 era.Comment
