Does anyone find this helmet interesting?

Woman near my folks place is selling this for $100. Looks good to me. She also has a cased 25 Year Long Service award, but I'm not so keen on that...well let me know if you think this item has anything I should be concerned about. Looks like a Romanian/Belgian helmet that was transformed into a civil service helmet. Kinda cool...

    BTW-

For those who helped and followed my thread on the scam artist out in Arizona who took me for a ride, I'm still after him with the help of the Phoenix police department. We will see what comes of it...

FOR 100.00 BUCKS I would grab It! looks like It was Dutch, very common
for the Luftschutz to requisition a helmet from another country and slap on a decal...cool
good luck on the rip off case I hope you get Him

          Luftschutz helmet

You might want to take a good look at that Luftschutz decal. It does not look like an original to me.

              Thanks guys...

I'm posting first a decal I have on a LUFTSCHUTZ helmet that I have here at home. Then I'll follow with the best I have of this dutch helmet.

I do see some differences, but would love some extra pointers if possible,

              Thanks guys.

                decal on the dutch helmet

I do see some differences. Namely that the space below the words LUFTSCHUTZ banner and the top of the Swaz is filled in. The Letter in the word LUFTSCHUTZ now look a little soft to me, a bit more bubbly? But I'm not sure...

Am I on the right track?

                Thanks again!

I have to say, it sure is a rare helmet. It is a Dutch helmet that's fore sure, at least the type helmet is Dutch. In world war2 Germans also made a few helmets ecaxtly like the Dutch model, but these are very rare, and cost way over the € 1000,-. These helmets are not from the Luftschutze. I have never seen them with Luftschutze, and I have my doubts about the helmet.

Luftshutz used helmets from other occupied countries along with German made/issued ones.

Here is a helmet with the same not filled spot over the swastika

Probably just different versions of decals.
