A good call to jumpstart this thread again. Heres's a few more results.

A DD dome stamp. This cost me a 2 1/2 hour drive to get this for free along with a text book example M-42 from the original deceased owner's family.

Came ot of Allgaeu, Bayern. I'm awaiting the owners personal bio from Germany and pictures. This was offered to me at the time but I did'nt know better about the value of proverance.

Here's another from a small town on the outskirts of Schweinfurt.

Once again I did'nt know any better and "F"th this one up, years ago I cleaned off the deep yellowing tinge. It appears whiter than it actually is with the camera flash.

You never know with these white painted helmets weather its post war or what but, this one looks like it has a chance by hands on inspection?
