ss NCO cap + boots

Hi,
heres a nice nco black cap it came complete with the boots pictured in the original brown paper bag out of a loft ,the insignia were missing.
my question is ,the cap skull that i fitted does it look original i thought so at the time, never got a eagle that looked ok.
inside the boots is the owners name it had been ripped from the cap not sure of it it looks like Kurt or Karl ........
theboots also contained the newspaper shown hope these are of interest.

date of paper as the boots are dated 41 i assume they were not worn after the paper date?

As for the paper, this is in French and I am nearly sure that the sheet comes from a loose page of a Signal
