Opinion on a snow camo helmet please

Here it is. The helmet is quite rusty.I assume the helmet was painted in white and the rust gave it this "yellow orange" color.
    The decals have been scratched.

Thanks guys for your help. I get your point but can you explain me your opinion a little as I'm trying to learn.
                      - The white paint seems to have been handbrushed
                      - Why does the helmet took this orange color ? was it because white paint was applied on rust or can it have been applied before the rust appear?
                      - Something look weird to me: Let's say the white painting has been applied post war. First option the decal is allready scratched, What would be the interest of leaving a space for a decal that is missing ?
Second option decal was still present, then what was the interest of scratching it after white paint has been applied ?
                      Thanks for your help.

My guess is that the maker had to choose to apply 2 fake decals or to make it look that the decals were removed, the last option is the best, some people will believe it's genuine this way..,just my thought..
When you like to liberate a decal you don't go this far when there's no trace to be found, plus it's very hard to find the right spot exactly like these are done.
Anyway,a bit of a strange helmet..

                        Jos.

That is a textbook example of an artifically aged helmet!
                          That is a BAD one...
