And I think Perrys point is a good one to lodge in the memory bank. I think before anyone post you have to be prepared for the and the. We are helmet collectors not helmet evangelizers.

PAB, if you read through the entire original thread I started late last month regarding this helmet, you'll see that I was more than prepared for and responded to any and all comments. I only felt the need to "defer to other's opinions" after my head started to hurt from hitting it against the wall. I'm not prepared to accept opinions that are simply DEAD-WRONG. As the saying goes, some men you just can't reach. Believe it or not, I was actually TRYING to help out regarding the use of this pattern eagle on late helmets. I guess, in that respect, I've learned my lesson.

By the way nopoop, it's "assessment", not "accessment"

      Best,
      Dan

Dan, no offense, but you should adopt a more mature approach to this. As an adult, one can agree to disagree and not have to resort to personal attacks calling into question an individual's credentials, credibility or integrity. As has been stated previously, if you like the helmet, then that is what counts. If you don't care to constructively discuss questions and issues surrounding certain helmets, then don't post them in this Forum. Go to other well-known Forums where people "ooooooooh" and "aaaaaaaah" regardless of what is being posted.
