it makes me sick everytime i see fakes ss lids for sale in the uk ,if they remain unsold on one website for a period of time they turn up on another uk website to see if they can get rid of it. these lids sell for $1000s of dollars , and whoever buys a ss lid in the uk is in for a rude awakening one day.
tom "tony2411 i think" had a nice one listed in the estand a short while back
it was a et quite nice if i remember. good luck tom in your hunt for a good one

headgear is not my area of interest and I was purchasing this to complement a display.

I will continue to buy from Martin at Hannahs Reich as I find him to be a very honest dealer - evidenced by his quick response. No one is all knowing; this does however endorse the benefits of the forum and I thank again those who made constructive comments
