It is too bad that many American vet’s enjoyed doing this to protect their trophies. In some instances you can’t tell unless you are looking really hard. Other times it sticks out like a sore thumb! To me, it depends on how “ugly” the job is for how much I mind. Many times it does not bother me at all, my opinion at least.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

hi erick , helmet belonged to me i traded it with a dealer i got it from a guy for £90 bargain eh, the guy i got it of also had a load of metal awards, i got a few , he also said the guy who he got these items from had a black ss helmet and ss gorget , i see this guy every week he brings some kind of military item, just waiting for the ss items ? fingers crossed regards will

I took a chance on this camo as; 1) the pictures weren't very good - due to the glare from the coating and 2) the price was very low for this quality camo helmet. I didn't know the Dealer and it was in England. Sometimes you have to take a risk. I would have paid twice as much as I did and still think it a good deal.
I sometimes think about somehow removing the clear coating but I can live with it as it is.
