"If helmet discussion is frowned upon what are we doing here " good point Chris.

I like it ,it has all the right scratches and dings in the right place ,a nice liner ,just need some nice clear shots without the white towell reflecting the flash , these camos are very tricky to photo .Rob.
God please take justin bieber and gave us dio back

      Thanks Glenn!
And to everyone else, I think debate on any helmet is nice to help others learn. The only thing I do not like is when people are on a “witch hunt”! Unfortunately someone did apply WD40 to this helmet as was common with old time collectors. Still, it is a KILLLER paint scheme and was misplaced by me long ago. Realistically I think I could have sold it for much more than I did. I priced it reasonably because I bought it before prices went crazy!
      Best Wishes,
      Bob
PS- It may be nice to start a thread with helmets that have coats of WD40 and lacquer.
PPS- Mark, if you ever decide to sell this I am interested!

        Bob,

Thanks for the help. This was my first WW2 camo helmet. I appreciate all your time and assistance! I am very happy with it and have had no bad feedback on this.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and suggestions/comments.

        Mark
