Nice to place some faces with the names we so often see on the forum. Hope to get a crew of Kiwi collectors to next years show, have to wait and see how the exchange rate is at the time. Nice to see you get a spiker Perry. Have you always collected them or is this a first ?

It's a first for me. I've allways wanted one but just couldn't tie the money up in one. I saw this one and just sorta went for it.
I handled the helmet Tom posted and it is crisp, its a killer..

I was there......... finally.
Can't add anything to what has been said. Overwhelming !
I just got home so I took a quick flash picture of the Luft DDs (one blue, one camo) the Army SD camo and the beautiful Panzer officers visor I picked up.
Can't wait till next year.

I have to agree with Perry, what a great show. I did not meet with as many people as I would have wished too but learnt a lot from the people I did talk too and I made some new friends.
I was very surprised at the price of nice SD SS helmets, saw several originals for between $6000-$7500. As my main area of collecting is SS I am just wondering what price they will go to next year?? I did pick up a DD M35 SS but this was my only helmet acquisition.
Hope to make it again next year.

Did any of the SS helmets move at these prices?

There were several real SS covers for sale. Didn't check the prices though. Maybe someone else will have pricing info.
