    SS M35 DD opinions, please?

    Hello,

Happy New Year to all of you !

I have almost no experience with SS decals, and I've always been scared by the amount of fake on the market.
What do you think of that one?

it seems there is another decal under these bad runes , would like to see in hands for the swastika because this helmet has been reissued and the shield has traces of paint over
Anyway , like Ty said , nice fake aging

M35 reissues are a favorite among fakers. A real helmet is destroyed in the process. Sections are neatly cut out in the reissue paint and fake decals are then placed very nicely in the cut out area. The whole process is very professional and expertly done. I'd like to know who's doing it but I've seen 4-5 done like this(all in the last 4-5 years) and all but one(one a real M40 camo converted) were real M35 reissues converted to fake SS.

                Thanks

Thanks to all for the precious help.

That's why I never bought a SS helmet, and now I know I will never do.
The guy that own it really believe it's a good one. I was thinking about trading it to him because I got something that he strongly wants.

                Again, thanks.

I did not like the runes decal, it is impressive how good the aging process can be faked. Glad you submitted it for impressions, smart move.
