Thanks for your comments and observations guys, I agree, it has been rubbed or spread about somehow.There are areas of the Decal that have been worn through completely, mayby during the war or someone after with lots of handling, we will never know why.
There is a really nice metalic look to it hands on.
Another thing is the whole Helmet is super smooth, which could well be quite normal, the last ET Decal posted is a very good match in dimension.
