My late-step grandfather fought in the wehrmacht too, but the only thing i have is his wehrpass. :o(

My grandfather was part of an artillery unit. The date posted was the date he lost his life on the eastern front. He had two children, my father and a daughter. My grandmother discarded all his military related items. She did not want the allies to find out her husband was in the Wehrmacht. She was uncertain how they might react. She did not know of his passing until a year later. Another picture of his unit.
