Help with 2 M43 ski caps(?)

I have recently been offered the following two caps, but since I am a total novice on these I wondered if anyone could offer there opinions on whether they are genuine third reich items.

I like neither and believe they are clever post war repros possibly done by the same faker using vintage fabric...possibly a Heer overcoat. Just my 2 cents, I would pass on them and look for examples that are more of a textbook norm. Others might have a different view.

Somtimes when you can pick up a bargain prices cap you realize the error in doing so whe you try to sell them..as was said before me they are IFFEY or non standard style caps..when in doubt do without..Billbert

Is there anything in particular about the caps that you dont like that I could learn or is it because they are non standard caps that they are a bit iffey.

Any help will be welcomed.

From my point of view they seem uncannily identical in design and lack of wear. I don't like the single, "tunic" button Officers with the sloppily stitched, crooked EM insignia. The other Em cap has a poorly rendered button hole area and a fake looking inkstamp inside that bears a very small RB# in the corner...strange. Peculiar insignia as well. Neither of these push the right buttons in my mind and I would not want them in my collection.

Its an acquired taste on many fronts be colleague rgd51 seems to verbalize well on it..kind of close but no cigar..not to say there are not (or even these might be) hats likr this that are very original but outside the NORM collectors view as RICHTIG..Billbert
