She just doesn't do it for me

Check out this decal on an M40 single decal EF62. I haven't been able to "match" this decal up with any real examples that I know of. Note in particular the talons and their underside (bottom of foot) detail. I think I'm going to pass on this one. In anyones opinion is this a variation of the heer eagle or outright fake?

Here is an EF decal. Is this one an early variation and the one I posted a later variation? Or am I just splitting hairs or totally off the mark?

            Hi Dean,
IMO I would not be so sure to pass on that lid ,I don't see what's wrong with that decal.
The second decal you posted is a beautiful grey outlined one.
            My two cents
            ciao Mario

Helmet went for $813.00. Decal looks to be a good EF adler. Considering the condition of the helmet, IMO it was a good buy.

She sure does a lot for me........
I concur with other. That is one beautiful and original helmet. Sure wouldn't let is pass without serious consideration.

That is a very nice EF. I had been watching that one as well, and if I had been looking to buy one, I would have jumped on it for sure.

Here are some areas highlighted that differ from the above EF decal. Is it a variation within the decal type/maker?

Another Ef recently offered on estand, similar to Kiblers EF

Lastly, another I have found on WAF that looks like the one in frame #12.

Dean, it's exact EF had different suppliers like those you noticed
